ABOUT JEONJU

Jeonju is the capital city of Jeollabuk-do (Jeonbuk State) and is widely recognized as one of Korea's most charming cultural destinations. The city is renowned for its rich history, traditional Korean architecture, and vibrant culinary culture, offering visitors a unique blend of heritage and modern convenience.

One of Jeonju's most famous attractions is Jeonju Hanok Village, home to more than 700 traditional Korean houses (hanok), where visitors can experience Korean culture, cuisine, and crafts. Jeonju is also known as the birthplace of Bibimbap, one of Korea's most iconic dishes, and has been designated a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.
